Job Details : Central University of Bihar (CUB) was established under the Central Universities Act-2009 of the Indian Parliament to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities, promote innovation in teachinglearning process and research,establish linkages with industries for promotion of science and technology and educate and train manpower for the development of the country. The University has territorial jurisdiction over the whole of the state of Bihar and admits students on All India basis. Its temporary campus is located at Patna.
We are looking for dedicated and committed faculty members who believe in institution building and have a passion for academic excellence and quality research. The Central University of Bihar made a beginning with launching of the Master Programme in Development Studies in 2009 and has gradually expanded up to 15 Master and 01 M. Tech. Programmes by 2012-13 academic session. We are hopeful that in near future academic infrastructure of best quality and increased faculty strength will be in place to enable us to launch integrated M.Phil-Ph.D. and undergraduate –Master Programmes. The University is, therefore, looking forward to attract and recruit highly talented and motivated faculty who would be committed to develop quality academic programmes and build an institution of international standard.

2. Associate Professor : 29 Posts : Pay scale : 37400-67000 + AGP : 9000
3. Assistant Professor : 47 Posts : 15600-39100 + AGP : 6000
